A discussion about death is so uncomfortable that we can’t even bring ourselves to acknowledge the taboo. We pretend it does not exist. Until we are confronted head on with a gut wrenching tragedy. Then the question hits us squarely without warning- would we rather know ahead when our time is up or go on without a clue? Within the same week, we learned that three members of our close family were diagnosed with cancer. Each of us must deal with the choices life brings. To all of our loved ones and beyond, we offer our prayers and support for the pain or threat of pain you must endure.
